Thanks! ^_^ I've had this character for a while, though I honestly don't remember what the initial reason for her aesthetic was aside from just "looking cool" at the time I made her (around 2013 or so). Someone I knew was into that sort of gear/steampunk-ish type look at the time, so perhaps that's what got me thinking about it. Because she doesn't have a particular story attached to her yet, there aren't any story-related reasons for her design, but she doesn't necessarily have to have any in order to make for a cool design. I have a handful of designs like that, and sometimes it's just fun to make cool looking things!
