Finally finished the best boy’s ref sheet. :’D Luckily most of the colour work was already done with the first drawing I did of him, but I did have to adjust a few things still. As you can see from the top right image, Draco can “bloom” his petal scales to cover his whole body, and like any plant-based entity he doesn’t do well in the cold. He can shed his petals like any animal might with their fur or skin, but he can also lose his petals if he’s injured or in said cold temperatures for too long.
