I’m still playing with the brushes I used last time too, but I like how it turned out. Having OCs befriend dragons is peak wish fulfillment for me tbh

Draco’s constellation is based on a dragon that guarded a golden apple tree, so I’ve made him into a tree dragon! He can raise and lower his petal scales like a bird’s feathers, and the rings of gold allude to the golden apple idea. The flower on his horn is an apple blossom. c’:

In this story, Draco is a recurring spirit that seems to reappear on Earth for no discernible reason, but he still maintains his basic guardian instinct. He is usually found perched in a tree somewhere nearby, no matter how many times Cassie sends him back to the Astral Plane. As the story progresses, Cassie becomes the “tree” that he must protect, getting her into and out of trouble in equal measure!
