Just a ficlet I wrote to try better demonstrate character dynamic at this age.
They're still somewhat recently travelling together.

Wallace and Jovan have been travelling together a while, but Mich only just joined them recently, even though they've run into him a few times before they formed a party.

So Mich isn't completely open or chill with the other two yet. That and he recognizes them as the children they are. So he doesn't really want to get involved with them and he thinks his issues are too much for people their age to deal with.

Also a bit of a show of how Wallace struggles with his hero worship of Mich when he starts seeing the uglier side of him.
