"Wow... I haven't been back to Kanto for a while I know that. But the Viridian Gym sure looks different Queeney!"

"Meganium?"

Rory pats her Megaium's neck, smiling, "Nah, it's fine girl. I know you weren't with me last time I was here."

"Meganium!" she nuzzles against her trainer.

"But wow man... Jay told me the gym was different but I didn't expect something like this... I think he said something about the panels on the floor but I wasn't listening..." Rory rubs the back of her head and laughs nervously.

Gently holding her chin in one hand and elbow in the other Rory studies the gym floor further and ponders aloud, "Back in the day there were walls dividing the gym. There were arrow panel's, but also transporting tiles. Of coruse back then Team Rocket was holding the gym and Gio was running the show. I guess Red took out rocket while I was gone. Kind of too bad actually..."

Meganium watches her trainer talk to herself for a bit before making her way towards the softly glowing tiles, leaning down to sniff them, "Ganium...?"

Rory snaps out of her thoughts, "Hey! Queeny don't get too close! Return!"

As she holds out the pokeball in an outstretched hand the red beam connects with Queeny and she's returned to the pokeball.

Rory wipes her forehead and leans foreward resting her palms above her knees, "Phew, that was close."

A voice calls out across the dimly lit gym, "Hey, You! Are ya gonna get over here or not? I'm not going over there to meet your sorry butt yanno!"

Rory's face twitches in displeasure and she shouts back while waving a fist above her head, "A course ima make it over there! No problem! I've beaten this gym before and I'll do it again!"

Patronizing laughter follows this response, and then a reply, "Well I wouldn't be so sure about that! Giovanni was runnin' the show before, but I'M running it now! And I'm the best there is next to Red!"

Rory hand flies to her mouth as she gasps and her eyes go wide as she whispers under her breathe, "Oh shit! How did I forget Green took over the gym?!"

"What's this? I made you speechless? Or are you just contemplating an exit before I prove you don't have what it takes? You've been standing there for 20 minutes! 10 of them talking to YOURSELF! I'm a paitent guy but seriously? If your gonna stand there all day I have better things I can be doing."

"You know? You talk too much! And what, pray tell, could you be doing rather than YOUR JOB which is to wait for challengers? I talked to your sis! She told me you give everyone a hard time by hardly ever being here in the first place!"

"Well I sure as hell don't talk as much as you! At least I have the decency to not stand around ignoring everyone and talk smack to their face! Too bad I gave away the fame checker a few years ago. I guess you'd be more of a gossip than the person I gave it to!"

"Why you-!" Rory's face was contorted in rage and her hands balled into fists at her side.

"And for your information, it's none of your business who I do in my spare time."

Rory's face suddenly changes to confusion, "Who...? Don't you mean what?"

There is a small silence, followed by an outburst of laughter, "Ha ha! You are amusing! But that's not what I meant, loser. But... if you're too naive to understand that's fine with me."

Rory's face burns with embarassment as it suddenly clicks in her mind what Green said, "Sh-shut up! I'll beat your ass 6 ways to Johto and back!"

"You need to beat me once first! And with the lack of control I saw over your pokemon a few minutes ago I doubt that's going to happen!" a fresh wave of laughter echos through the gym, "I'll even turn up the lights so you can see better!" Green snaps his fingers and the light's light up the gym more brightly. Hi his voice suddenly soften's, "After that then we'll see if I'll be into this S&M you've proposed~" with that Green blew a kiss towards Rory and smirked.

Shaking with both anger and embarassment Rory stomps over to the panels, "We'll see about that!"

All the gym trainers were looking across to each other nervously. Not one of them daring to speak.
