There was this big description that usually went with this picture, but basically it was something along the lines of the fact that Shangrila is a shapeshifting demonic entity that goes around and takes pleasure in fooling people and telling lies to confuse and cause conflict between people. Basically causing trouble and getting satisfaction from it, ya know... normal demon shit. But he tells so many lies and changes shape so much that sometimes he has a hard time remember what's real anymore. So it kind of comes around and bites him in the ass. Makes him a little bit crazy.
ANYWAY, one of his favorite forms is this bear monster thing with wings, so this was kind of a form of that.
I actually hated the lines for this when I did them on paper, but I managed to make it somewhat interesting with the coloring. HOORAY!

Delicious, descriptive anatomy. I do so love big clawed feet and bear faces. Oh, and those ears! Shangri-kins is so cuddly looking. ^_^ (Mind you, I always found the raptors in Jurassic Park to be cute, even as a child. XD ) I also like the part about him being a bit crazy because his lies and shape-changing make him lose track of reality. Did I mention the colors are lovely, too? :D The oranges and blues always go so well together in his drawings.

Aw, he would be a grumpy cuddler... tho maybe he would actually like it cuz he's such a crazy boy XD It took a little while to develop his personality and dispositions, and he still gets little updates from time to time, but I am pleased with how he's coming along. Tormented demons, YAY! Thank you, by the way!
