A few weeks ago I deleted almost everything in my inbox except these comics to read later, and damn am I happy I kept 'em haha. Really cool cast of characters, fun designs all around, and a story I'm interested to see play out. Not to mention your use of colour is fantastic. Thanks for sharing!!
Aw man, that is awesome you wanted to keep it around to read! :D I am flattered! I am really glad to hear there's a little group of people out there that are enjoying my comic and are excited to see where it goes! I haven't ever gotten this far with a comic before, so it's exciting to me, too, to see if I can actually take it somewhere good!
Oh damn, I cracked up when I noticed the exclamation marks on Jake's cap in the last panel. XD It's the little things...
Ah man, this comic is such a refreshing break from all the horrid webcomics out there on the 'Net.
Thank you, hahah! I am trying to put more little derpy things into the panels and expressions, so it's fun to see when people enjoy that XD
I am also very pleased that people are enjoying this so far... I see so many mistakes, mostly because I don't have much time to do them (as you can see, suuuper slow updates) but if the story still flows decently then that's all I can hope for.
I've found that a few discrepancies here and there with comics doesn't detract too much from the rest of it, especially if the characters and panels are still readily identified and easy to read. So far the pacing in your story is just fine; you're putting enough detail and just enough bits of backstory here and there without bogging the pages down in unnecessary dialogue, the characters are interesting and delightful to look at, and it's easy to tell which panel to read next, so I'd say you're doing great!
