im contemplating making them small in any non-reference drawing because the just take up so much room! :G even though it used to bug me so much (a dragon/flying animal with tiny wings), really they're just representational if the creature has other methods of transport. like legs n arms.

That's what I usually do XD Or if they're anthro I just remove them completely. Anthros with big old wings never look that aesthetically pleasing to me
