Rex Visits The Tail Underground by Ahura

Rex Visits The Tail Underground

Ahura

Rex was in the mood to relax and having heard of a wonderful tavern called the Tail Underground he decided to visit. Only problem being his large dino girth wouldn't allow him to rest comfortably in the main tap room so he was let into the wine cellar by the kind fox behind the bar. After settling down Rex sighed unaware he was being watched. The mischievous ghostly otter known to frequent patrons of the Tail Underground had never seen a dinosaur step foot across the Tail's threshold or even dream of seeing one in person. Rex despite having found a quiet corner of the bar to rest was a bit uncomfortable. His body ached from long days spent entertaining children and learning about the new world he found himself in. Despite his best efforts his discomfort showed causing Colin to feel sorry for the big dino. Twitching his whiskers he quietly approached the dinosaur first as an invisible presence. When he was mere inches from Rex he revealed himself to the stunned but friendly dinosaur.
"Who are you?" Rex asked trying to decide whether or not the ghost in front of him was for real or just an illusion of his tired mind.
Colin half-smiled a little taken aback by the dinosaur's reaction given most he receives end up in screams or mild fainting spells. "My name is Colin, I must say I have never seen a dinosaur around these parts."
Rex scratched the back of his head shifting from side to side in embarrassment. "My name is Rex. I came here thinking this might be a good place to relax but it seems I might have made a mistake."
Colin shook his head, "No matey you made the right choice indeed. Won't find better spirits anywhere else but here." Colin eyed the dinosaur's wide hips blushing slightly.
"I have a better way for you to relax if you allow me to help?" Colin offered.
Rex nodded without hesitation. "Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated" the eager dinosaur replied.
Colin smirked knowing that Rex didn't exactly know what he would have in mind.
The ghostly otter pressed his muzzle to Rex's tickling him with them before gazing deeply into his eyes. Rex's gaze became transfixed as all of a sudden Colin's eyes became blurred and swirly. Slowly Rex began to loose all sense of himself and the cold stone floor beneath him. All that seemed to matter was Colin.
Colin grinned as his hypnosis trick quickly took effect. Most of the time it was hit or miss depending on how willing the person was to be hypnotized but Rex quickly feel under his sway in no time flat. When Colin felt Rex was sufficiently under his spell he broke eye contact.
"Rex?" Colin asked. But the dinosaur offered no response beyond a faint look of acknowledgement of his own name being said. Colin giggled. "Oh this will be fun indeed!" Reaching inside the dinosaur Colin gently searched for what he was looking for eventually he found it inside Rex's heart. Souls not used to leaving their bodies often needed a little coaxing at first and Colin being the gentlemen ghost he is extended his hand to Rex. The dinosaur's soul grasped his paw before Colin began to draw him up and out of his body. First Rex's head emerged then his chest. Soon his upper half was free of his body before he knew what was happening. Colin looked behind Rex's soul checking on his body to make sure there were no problems with the separation. He was pleased to see there was not.
"Now we can go have some fun. Let's liven the party upstairs by scaring some guests." Rex could merely giggle before following Colin through the floor leaving a ghostly tail reaching back down into the cellar to his still entranced body slowly drooling across the floor.
