whahahaha! You guys... Have no idea how much fun I have had with this. (Done as a break from work on a commission that is nearly finished)

Here is my concept for Agua's mouth.

Okay...So wanna know more?!

Agua is a very gentle creature, passive and hates violence...usually will avoid any kind of fighting. She also really is not built for fighting. She is muscular but more so toned not.. bulky or well armored her scales are more leather-like and soft leaving her vulnerable to dragons and other baddies who are more ferocious. Her paws/claws are also much more hand-like than weapons for destruction so that rules those out for real defense.

I have been thinking about this a lot and trying to come up with something she can use for fighting. Finally I came to the conclusion. FANGS. Yeaaaahh man. She has teeth sort of modeled with a dog in mind because she eats meat as well as fruit. Then she has these poisonous fangs modeled after a snake. They are fully retractable and she is in control of them. I am not sure exactly the effect of her venom. Probably paralyze and blind her victims....not sure yet. However. I feel extremely proud of this concept and have never seen anything like it before. The fangs are retractable from the space between her lip and actual teeth.

These wouldn't be something she would probably use to kill just anyone or anything. She could use them as a threat to try to scare someone off or when she means business.

Gah. Guys I am geeking out about these.
