Of all the crime lords in the world, Joshua Sanchez is among the absolutely worst morally, not only for atrocities he's committed or had a hand in, but because he's an absolute dick who rarely ever bothers hiding how much of an asshole he is.

Born in Spain to a family of 'legitimate businessmen', with a mother of Russian descent, sporting a surprisingly noteworthy criminal pedegree to boot, he grew up wealthy and entitled. The local townsfolk bent over backwards for the Sanchez family, and as such would bow to whatever young Joshua wanted, whether they liked it or not.

Sanchez grew up to be a sadistic asshole and a bully, but with a disturbingly creative and intelligent mind.
He went to an American college in Virginia, where he ended up strongarming his way to the top of a prestigious fraternity, one that frequently feuded with another fraternity known as Rappa Sappa Si, which was headed up by Winston Pike's best friend Chuck Volstead.
While Chuck often feuded with Sanchez and his frat Animal House style, Winston was also a pretty big help, to the point that while Sanchez eventually got expelled, he's always blamed Winston for the first ever 'true' defeat he's had in his life.
Shortly after his expulsion, Sanchez arranged to have his parents killed in a mob war so he could inherit his father's organization, and ended up growing it to tremendous size.

While pretty much everyone is sure he's a crime lord, it's also something that has never been definitively proven for a number of reasons, because of how much of a jerk he is to everybody, pretty much every monster hunter on Earth hates the man and wants to take him out.
However, Winston didn't know that fact and ever since Winston ended up having to also leave college, Sanchez has been engaging in a semi-passive campaign of long term revenge against the man ever since, very, very intent on driving Winston to suicide in a 'humiliating' fashion...Sanchez has yet to succeed.

But right now, he has a very nasty scheme in mind, and Winston himself isn't the only person who should be afraid of what Sanchez has planned...
