Why Throw a Hat?

A-Fox-Of-Fanfiction

He may not be about to shoot you, but I think Goldfinger would prefer to be dealing with James Bond right about now, drawn by https://www.deviantart.com/davidbaronart here's Alistair Garth as he proceedeth to layeth the smack down on two of Bond's most troublesome adversaries.

When looking for work, you can get some interesting assignments from across the multiverse, like an understaffed alternate M16 when they needed someone to find and rescue 007 himself after he went missing on an assignment.

They needed someone off the books to find Bond and figure out just what the fuck was going on, Alistair had pretty good reviews so they just shelled out the money to have him get to the bottom of things.

As weird as it sounded, for a humanoid alligator in a world populated solely with humans was surprisingly stealth. Especially considering that outfit of Alistair's.

It wasn't hard for Alistair to discover Bond had been taken captive by Goldfinger, who had recently made a partnership with Ernst Stavro Blofeld, to pool their resources together in an effort to manipulate gold prices to make a monopoly under their control.

Bond had discovered this on a wholly unrelated case, and was captured, they hadn't killed him but mostly because for the past month neither Goldfinger nor Blofeld could agree on just what to do.

As it happened though, while they were prepared to deal with spies this time, they were NOT prepared to deal with a guy who makes John Woo look gun shy.

Alistair just found the base where they were holding Bond and proceeded to gun down SPECTRE agents like they were wheat in a field.
That's not to say there weren't people who had put up a pretty good fight, like Oddjob.

But Goldfinger couldn't really outrun Alistair, and when the gator got the upper claw with superior speed, he decided to one up Oddjob.

James Bond would certainly be rescued that day.

Because how the hell could Oddjob beat someone who was capable of beating the holy hell out of him with his own boss?

Alistair Garth belongs to me.

Auric Goldfinger and Oddjob belong to Eon Productions and were made by Ian Fleming.
