A while back, a story and image was posted explaining the origin of the snake (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/9573492/). This is a bit of a followup to that. Some years later, Odon has established himself as a powerful creature, demanding sacrifices, etc... He's showing off his "domain" to Master Gilrandree whose first reaction is "You had them build a statue of us?!?" (Thus the face-palm expression.)

I like the look of the man in the back, looking out at Gil, as if the demon lord is actually going to save him from the mean serpent! Trust me, little human, you're probably better off in the snake's coils than as a toy for Gil to play with.

Certainly quite happy with how this came out, all in all.
