It's finally complete! :D

It was rather a rather long piece, but I am glad I committed.

Some of the things I enjoyed working on the most was discovering new ways to solve certain creative issues I had. I also really liked working on composition. My aim was to get the wholesomeness of older American paintings like Norman Rockwell and JC Leyendecker, at least composition-wise.

The most challenging parts were getting the linework to reflect the natural feeling of the sketch. At first, it was really stiff and minimal. Then I had to explore various ways in livening up the line quality. What really helped me was to use line to describe the form of the characters. Drawing inspiration from Witch Hat Atelier really helped. I haven't read all the manga, but it already looks so gorgeous!
