What of the lightsaber styles do you feel is best for Consulars?

  Green blade. The hilt style doesn't matter too much. I go with something flashy since if I'm trying to be in character, consulars rarely ignited their blades. Overall though, there are no wrong answers.

    i meant fighting styles. Like do you think a consular would prefer the balance of Niman or the defense of Soresu? would they blend styles and if so which ones?

      I have looked into those styles, and while yes, they are part of the Jedi handbook and relevant to the universe, in real life I train using Taekwondo for the stances and for breathing techniques. I have lots of combat grade light sabers from ultrasabers, and unfortunately going off of Star Wars canon in this regard might look cool but from what I've experience, it's not really useful in the real world.
      
      All that said, Niman would be the more obvious choice. Soresu is a little too purely defense. As a Consular I want to focus on defense but I can't assume Id always be defending myself. In order to more adequately defend others I'd have to personally choose Niman.
