An older picture that I figured I'd submit to pad out my gallery a bit.

These are some relatively minor characters from my Simian Rapscallion stories. The rider is the bounty hunter Selena Faspin. She's a galarus, which is an original species of anthropomorphic birds, one of the most common species in Illupia (one of the main kingdoms featured in the stories).

Her mount is Gracie, the saltwater dobhar-chu. I guess this is technically an original species too, though it's loosely based on the Irish cryptid Dobhar-chú. There are a lot of differences between the Dobhar-chú cryptid and my saltwater dobhar-chu, the most obvious being that the latter lives in oceans rather than lakes. They're vicious sea monsters notorious for the fact that their preferred diet consists of the flesh of unwary sailors. Selena is the only person known to have captured a saltwater dobhar-chu and lived, so as you might imagine, this makes her a fairly intimidating figure.
