Dylend still is coming to terms with his new life, yet artifacts from his old life still crop up. Mundane components to magical arrays drag him back to his past. Again and again he thinks back to that day where the cascade happened, could he have done it better?

Every time he is drawn back into that dreadful day, and each time he considers a new avanue, but the damnable part is that he can't go back to that day to redo it. He did the best that he could back then, there is no better that the past can be done, it is too past tense to tamper with.

Maybe at some point he'll come to terms with it, but until then the survivor guilt clings to him.
