The Onarum is the greatest scientific achievment and one of the most recent in the field of travel in the Edenic Void. While obviously catering to it's own well being, the void also pulses out energy as well. Sometimes that pulse is semi influenced by magnetism which creates streams or currents that expand out into the physical universe. Harnessing this power proved to be invaluable as it saved countless resources and allowed more concentrated technologies to pass through as if silent.

The Onarum is a small orb that focuses this magnetized energy effectlively drawing in these streams of astral space and allowing simple transitions and navigations. They make the jobs of Novaganastros much easier. This type of travel is not dependent on the physical realm, making the energy requirement much cheaper and almost as reliable. It allows travelers to proceed undected by any physical only radar system, usually registering as a mere blip of energy as ships move their way in and around with little effort. The Onarum however has the unfortunate downside of being a bit more important to offworlders looking to travel this way.

These streams are often filled with amplified amounts of chaotic energy collisions and expulsions which are often penetrating the ship. The thick hulls do a lot to protect the astral residents who can take amounts of the energy in without risk. Off worlders of a more physical existance however are more at risk for mutation or death when exposed to high amounts of that energy. The Onarum generates small anti-pulses of physical space throughout random parts of the ship, eventually covering the whole ship at times. These pulses repell almost all of the energy colliding with the ship and it's inhabitants. This in turn also helps protect offworld travelers while still keeping the ship almost invisble in the physical universe. The Onarum in repelling such energy also keeps passengers further safe from other creatures natively resident in the streams, which are spoken with legendary status by travelers.

The Onarum requires specialized compressed astral essence and crystals in an optimized, pure state, making them almost impossible to manufacture outside of the Edenic void. They are still however, created in secret and guarded fiercely.
