So, breaking up my project, I decided to finally draw a picture I've had in mind for about two months. Basically when I made my FA journal about changing something in Matthew's story, this was what I meant. I've taken out the “skipped a year” aspect of his schooling, so he's in kindergarten now. My reasoning is simply that I feel like it fits him better – he's smart, yes, but not really in a way that warrants him being in first grade.

Of course, he's quite nervous, but he'll settle in soon enough ^_^

Art-wise, I tried a somewhat new way of shading, but the background is obviously lacking... I had some issues with it, but it looks good enough. I'm pretty happy with this overall.

Also, I'm considering making this sort of a picture-story, but I'm still on the fence about it so we shall see.
