So, my grandmother recently found an old notebook that belonged to my grandfather, who was in the city of Warsaw during the second world war when the Germans systematically destroyed the entire city.
The notebook describes my grandfather's experience during the destruction, and how he was moved to a labor camp following this.
Most of you probably won't be able to read it - even I have trouble with the handwriting - but I thought this was an immensely powerful piece of family history and I felt like sharing it somewhere.
