Hyena Hat by Abbi Normal

Hyena Hat

Abbi Normal

Like my hyena tail, I also completed this a while ago and forgot to post. A set of armsleeves with detachable handpaws are also part of this "set", but I'm still trying to figure out a way to take pictures of them. Even ignoring the fact that taking pictures with the handpaws on sounds...awkward...the only place I could take them would be my bathroom, and nobody wants to see that. Speaking of things nobody wants to see, I also don't want to appear in the pictures...hate my photo taken. If I have to be in the photo, I'll just draw over myself in the photo, draw my 'sona's face over-top of mine, lol.

For the hat, fortunately, I found an alternative. Bobby the Cat was there, as well, having his gallery of pictures taken, and happily volunteered to wear my hat for me (though it did cover almost his entire body!).

As you can see, this hat comes with optional facial expressions on ninja hoodie-style face-covering insets. There are two, one mouth open and the other mouth closed. The faces are "3D", with a polyester-stuffed noses like a plushie, teeth and lips, etc. The facial designs themselves are loosely inspired by Bandanimals. They snap in by two button snaps on each side, whose opposite numbers are inside the hood, just where the fur meets the lining--the hand being lined with black polar fleece. A button snap also closes the "flaps" of the hood under the wearer's chin. The mane is made of brushed-out wool yarn, like the tail's tufts.
