Been doing a lot of things lately, although not everything that I should be doing. Still a lot of things on the docket that I haven't gotten to yet.

Time's basically been split between EVE, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and Shadow of Mordor. Shadow of Mordor was a new purchase, and I take to it as I take to any open world game, namely in the 'do all the things' approach, but once I figured out the mechanics of scouting out my marks instead of walking into four of them at once with a mob of orcs on my heels, it's getting easier. Really shouldn't shove a lot of time into this game on a regular basis, or I'll get absolutely nothing done.

The focus on these games is probably due to the 'hands on' approach they take. EVE is great for micromanaging people, but you're not punching or stabbing some guy into oblivion in a kind of chain kill thing. Satisfying in a different way, and I'm sure D'Nae prefers it more to spreadsheets online.

That said, first night I played it I got a bunch of clutter around my apartment cleaned up. I've only lived there with my roommate for about a year, but boxes were stacked pretty high right after we moved in, and we haven't had the opportunity (or desire) to clean them up since then. We're getting to know people in the area again (one couple on the 17th floor specifically), and the desire to have people come visit and not feel completely guilty about how terrible the apartment looks is becoming more and more significant.

I actually finally cleaned up the 3 (!!) boxes of electronics parts and scaled it back to two and one box of "garbage because I can never justify using this ever again". I had a PS/2 to ATX converter. Haha. Going to start clearing more stuff up and consolidating for a storage locker somewhere. Figure out a weekend where I've got a car anyways and just load it out there one day and store it up. So much more living space potential.

Also worth noting, last weekend did a bunch of social things. Went to an EVE meet downtown, then to a housewarming, and then socialized with people in our building, and then played D&D. I was pretty worn out, but it was a good worn out, and last night I buried myself in blankets and slept so well.

Now to get some stuff done today at work. XD
