Taken. My partner and I have been together almost two years now. We were best friends for many before then.

What do you do in your spare time?
Most of the time I read. My primary genres are science fiction and fantasy, though anything that catches my eye is an option. Sometimes I roleplay, both textually and face to face. I've had experience with D&D from AD&D through 4.0, Pathfinder, Hero System Rifts, Shadow Run and most of the World of Darkness systems. Sometimes I write, paint miniatures for gaming, play video games or practice calligraphy.

What's your job or occupation?
I currently handle the accounts receivable/billing for an engineering company.

What do you like about yourself?
My intelligence and willingness to grow and learn from my mistakes.

What do you dislike about yourself?
A lot of the things I haven't liked myself are works in progress at the moment. I've been growing and evolving a lot over the last couple of months. I guess at this point what I dislike most is my inability to stand up for myself when I feel like I'm being attacked unfairly.

What did your friends notice about you when they first met you?
I can't say any of them have ever told me this. o.o I'm now tempted to ask them.

What is your belief/religion if you believe in anything at all?
I guess you could say I'm a spiritualist. I believe there is more out there than we can prove scientifically but I don't really follow any one religion. If anything I have a little hybrid of Buddhism and Wicca mingled with left over tidbits of my early schooling in Christianity.

More than I used to.

I do not.

What are your major fears?
Needles. Snakes. Failure. Lack of control over my life.

Do you have any dreams or goals?
i want to go back to school, either for contract/copyright law or to go further with my psychology.

Have you ever had a crush or an ex?
Odd question. Was this supposed to read "Have you ever had a crush on an ex?" They're two different things that really don't seem to flow well together for a single question, so I'll answer all three. I've had many questions in my life, normally on people I considered to be desirable but unattainable. I have two or three exes of various levels of seriousness. I've never had a crush on an ex. Typically my exes are exes because I've moved past the point of romantic attachment to them. The most they get is fond memories.

What's your favorite dish?
Sushi. I absolutely adore sushi. Most forms of pasta follow quickly behind it.

What's your favorite drink?
I'm not sure I have a single favorite drink any more. Once upon a time I would have told you Vanilla Dr. Pepper (no ice). At Starbucks it's a Vanilla Latte with One Shot of Raspberry in it. Red Bull tends to be my go-to for energy drinks, though I've been weaning myself away from them again. Alcohol would be a concoction I developed called a Dreamcicle: 2 parts Orange Juice, 1 part Milk, 1 part Vanilla Vodka (preferably 360 Madagascar Vanilla Vodka).

Midnight Blue.

If you had a super power, what would it be?
Flight.

What's your favorite movie?
It used to be Dragonheart. Now I'm not entirely sure. My partner shared the 5th Element with me and it was amazing, as well as the Alien Series. Chronicles of Riddick? I have to admit I do love 10 Things I Hate About You.

What's your least favorite food?
Tomatoes: it's a texture thing.

What's the last meal you want before you die?
Huh. I've never thought of this before. Chicken Alfredo, miso soup, spicy salmon rolls and bread sticks.

What do you drive and what would you really like to drive?
I've got a 2005 Hyundai Elantra GT that I bought over the summer. I also have the Harley Sportster that needs to be registered before I can drive it. Stupid money. I guess the Sportster is what I would really like to drive since she's been sitting around un-ridden? I'm not really picky with vehicles.

What is your most disliked bug?
Maybe gnats? They're annoying to deal with.

What pet peeves do you dislike the most?
People being rude to service staff. Their jobs are hard enough as is without imbeciles talking down to them or taking their personal issues out on them.

What do you dislike in life?
Being treated like I'm incompetent. Unnecessary cruelty. Bigotry.
