Preying on humans about the same size as you - or, if you're lucky, even a bit bigger - can be tricky. They are not stupid, humans. If you don't have or want a method to lure them to your embrace, then you must take them by surprise and strength.

Of course, they still flail and scream and bunch up and get themselves into all sorts of awkward pickles, but that's the fun of it. You are an experienced predator, and the human body is just an assemblage of levers - if you wished you could make a puppet of them. But it can be even more enjoyable to embrace their gawky attempts to save themselves, to pin them into inconvenient poses, to bite and taste and stoke their panic and your own hunger until they are broken, and their eyes almost beg you to take them...
