I normally don't bug people with my human drawings; I more or less keep a lot of them to myself, but I've been working on a project with someone having to do with strong-men in a turn-of-the-20th-century-circus type theme, and I though Armstrong would be fun practice to stylize, loose-sketch, and get a feel for drawing the manlier man-faces. :]
Unfortunately, I threw this up on DeviantArt and it kind of bothered a few of the really gung-ho anime fans, one of which didn't like him in this style and refered to his eyes as 'appalling' because they're not as anime as they are in the series and angry rather than friendly. I just. . .I don't know what to say to that other than that person has way too much time to worry about anime. It turned me off to having it up there and being the possible source of a 'comic style vs anime style' argument so I took it down and threw it up here to scare you guys with instead. :|

I LOVE what Brotherhood did with him. Honestly I think that, based on how the actual manga and Brotherhood went, this style does really suit him. He's way more than a pretty face.

They forget...there are times where he is serious and looks angry...I think this is amazing! No, that is the incorrect term...I KNOW this is amazing!
