simple design and thoughts for an owl fursona...
Just establishing concepts to myself, basic traits...
In the little world my OCs exist in, there is a wild intermingling of passable traits. An individual can be a feral, wild animal... or be similar to human-level sapience. And everything in-between [though it's seen as rarer to fall towards the middle, it may happen more than society respects or perceives, since those individuals are likely naturally isolating and/or unable to integrate into respective communities.... making them effectively invisible].

She was naturally born with a highly sapient mind, but she never enjoyed or fit in to society and found it stressful and stifling and miserable. She decided she would be better off pretending to be a feral animal, and to eke out a living sleeping in treeholes and catching mice and lizards. She's happier this way in many respects, but she is lonely, with no solution for that.... Still craving a sociable lifestyle, which her wild counterparts don't really take part in. Oh well, compromises.
