when I was about uhh 12? or 13-15, my fursona was this creature I had made up myself, named Fai. She had a tapirlike snout, blunt flat teeth but sharp canines, a greyhound-like body, camellike two-toed feet, and a large fat gecko-y tail. I like drawing her now and again-- I drew her constantly when I was young, and it still feels so natural to draw her.

She's always fun to revisit! As a kid, I hadn't really thought about the rest of her 'species' at all-- I was just interested in drawing her and not thinking about the rest. Now, I wanted to think about-- what if she was so spry and leggy because she was young? It's fun to think of her as canonically still the age I was when I made her. I'm still thinking about how I want the adult forms to be, but I figure, since Fai is the result of what I found attractive at that age, I ought to fill out her adult species form with things I find most attractive now! So, a large, sturdy body, amply flappy skin like a cow, wrinkles, teats, all the sounds I find interesting (I love geese honks so much! and deep bass rumbles, like a gator's bellows!).... aggressive/violent females & docile males.
