Sometimes, problems in Eorzea are best solved by a couple blasts of fire to the face. As a Black Mage, I'm more than happy to supply that. If my tank's eyebrows get singed off in the process, then so be it! I came here to drink milk and blast Primals into aether... and I've just about finished my milk.

This picture @v@ I am insanely proud of the results I got for this. When I first saw the outfit that Seraph was looking to have drawn, I definitely nervous about if I would be able to pull it off. I love to do detailed pictures, but this was more detailed than anything I've done before, really. But! With a lot of careful pre-sketching and planning and rules, I feel like I really pulled it off! It was a lot of fun working out how best to show the character and the clothes, how to fit the staff on the physically limited dimensions of the page, and how I wanted the lighting to look. I couldn't lose concentration for a moment while I was coloring this, because if I put that dark gray down somewhere that I didn't mean for it too, there was no coloring back over it with anything lighter.

I'm really happy that I've learned how to use my scanner better, because if I had done this picture up even a few months ago, all those light blues would be nearly invisible. There are some minor changes, but overall this scan looks very close to the actual piece. Thank you for commissioning this from me, Seraph! It really let me put my all into a picture.
