This is a piece I've written some time ago, but had decided against publishing for months now. The initial reason was that it was entirely too personal, but more importantly, I wasn't over the subject (or arguably, subjects) of this poem. And to be quite frank, I'm still not over it, or them -- but I've made peace with it to an extent.
The poem is dead to me now, and while saying so runs the risk of sounding pretentious, I haven't any desire or use for this part of my soul any longer.
