Guardian: the calmest of the breeds; this pokemon’s temperament is nearly euphoric it is so at ease with life. they are actually quite easy to catch, due to their disinterest in fighting. they are very protective of those they care for, and even total strangers are often recipients of these creatures’ protection and guidance when traveling through a guardian’s terratory. they can be dangerous though, if threatened. mostly found wandering thick forests and jungles, these pokemon camouflage quite well with their dappled, green hide, and tree-trunk like limbs/neck. an easy way to know you’re around one is the scent; they produce a sweet smelling musk from a gland underneath the fleshy, petal-like flaps of skin adorning their neck. this scent, as well as the bright coloured flaps, attract bird and insect pokemon. you’ll often see small flocks of them accompanying a guardian. completely flightless; small wings and massive weight makes this task impossible. they are also surprisingly quiet; their feet flexible and padded, making it easier to muffle their movement. this breed is also the longest living, often reaching nearly ancient ages
