Akira knocked open the door and pointed with his gun at the man.

The man looked like he would almost get an heart attack, then Akira talked to him.

He demanded the contents of the drawer, without protest the man handed them over.

With shaking hand he gave Akira the contents. "Please to not shot", he whined.

Akira digged through the stuff and found beside some tools a photo.

Akira looked at it, it was photo of the wanted Lupain, but not only the Lupain was in the photo.

Akira was to be seen on the photo too. The Lupain put his arm around Akira and both seemed to be happy in the photo.

He stared at the photo until he fell contorted in pain to the floor.

His face was twisted in pain, some memories of that Lupain came back to him.

Shane sat to Akira, he didn't know what to do.
Akiras pain got even worse, Shane tried to calm Akira down, but he didn't had a chance.

The man used the opportunity, he picked up a pipe wrench and wanted to hit the back of Shanes head with it.

But Akira saw this and pushed Shane aside. The man missed Shane.
Akira jumped up and pressed the man against a wall, he held his gun at the man's temple.

"Where is Ari!" Akira screamed.

The man answered: "Who is Ari?"

Akira only realised yet that he recalled the name of the Lupain.
He muttered to himself: "Ari was his name? Interesting ..."

"I do not know Ari, let me go!"

"Where is he?" asked Akira again, this time Shane held up the photo and pointed with his finger at Ari.

The man said if he knew where he was it would cost something.

Akira smiled and backed away a few steps, he pointed with his gun at the human.

"STOP! Please to not shoot, they went north! I do not know any more!"

"Where exactly!" Akira screamed.

The man pointed at a city map that was hanging at the wall: "There."

"If you lied we will come back and won't be that nice anymore," Shane said.

Both left the junk yard with the city map.

Shane took the opportunity and confronted Akira with Ari: "Ari is his name? Sounds nice."

"I hope he is still alive," Akira replied.

Both followed disguised the track until the came to an dead end.

"Do you still smell Ari?" Shane wanted to know.

But Akira did not answer, he lost the track, all of a sudden the smell stopped.
As if someone had purposely made it to disappear.

Akira seemed desperated. Was everything in vain? Did they have to turn back?

"Akira? I smell something," Shane said.

"Is it Ari?" Akira wanted to know.

"No, but I smell Lupains, I smell clothes, weapons and uniforms."

Akira reacted fast: "That must be the laboratory, where does the smell come from?"

Both went further north, they came to an factory, it seemed to be abandoned for decades.

"Do you see it?" Shane asked.

In front of them stand a huge air vent, well hidden and hardly noticeable.

It consisted of three ventilation shafts, one of the rotors seemed to be defective.

From it came the smell, there were hundreds or more Lupains they smelled.

Akira stuck his sword between one of the blades of the rotor, so that the air vent failed to start. If it would still be able to start.

Akira gave Shane his gun: "No matter who comes near you, man or Lupain, shoot!"

But Shane did not want Akira to go alone in the laboratory.

"You stay here, I smell fresh blood, I do not know what's down there. It's too dangerous for you."

Akira climbed into the air vent, but he could not go farther down, he hung on something.

Shane held Akira's hand. "Promise me you'll come back," whimpered Shane.

Akira went back to Shane, Shane hugged Akira and pressed his face against Akira's armor.

Akira bowed his head and gave Shane a kiss.

"Get your friend Ari out there and kick the humans properly in the ass," Shane said.

"I will do," Akira replied and went down into the ventilation shaft.

"Be careful," Shane said.
