My Ireland, Sweet Ireland. by Chakat Stripedfur

"My Ireland, Sweet Ireland"

My Ireland, sweet Ireland,
my emerald ancestral home.
My Ireland, sweet Ireland,
the land I wish to roam.

A journey now; I wish to complete,
though I wasn't aware I'd begun.
My family there; I wish to meet,
though I am far from done.

To grace thy shores with wooden oars; is what I wish to do,
to beat a retreat;
with my own two feet;
and finally come home to you.

My Ireland, sweet Ireland,
my emerald ancestral home.
A place to say;
"It's here I'll stay, and never more to roam."

My Ireland, Sweet Ireland.

Just something I wrote.
