I think gripes against the administration's handling of sexual-assault-related accusations are valid, but indeed there is little to be gained by repeatedly pestering someone who merely posts art over their display venue if they wish not to be morally invested either way. Punishing them for what the dictator does, in a sense. Although the side-bar matter showed that if enough people complain, they can force action. They just need to focus the anger appropriately.

For me, I just don't really get myself emotionally invested in the politics over there any more. I used to and I just decided it wasn't worth it. At this point for me, I just post my art, I look at all, I enjoy the community that's it.

I can't even afford to get myself concerned about the accusations, (even if I just don't like the person in question). It's not my battle so I just try to stay out of it. They've just generally had a very bad time handling PR and not knowing how to address issues and talk to people. So I just watch from a safe distance and just don't let it effect me anymore. I can't. x_x

I found that when I tried to act concerned, it never ended, because the people demanding it could not be pleased for any reason, always had a new issue, and were much more emotionally devoted than I was. I do not have the luxury to make furfaninity the fight of my life. I am glad that people have been able to build support networks but they do not need to become abuse networks.

Demanding real world levels of involvement from people who are specifically doing something to live out hormone-fueled fantasies also seems a bit much. You might as well yell at a 4th-grader for using a calculator made in China.
