Setsuko is yet another distant relative of the Ignis Clan who has spent most of her time residing near Hoenn's Mt. Chimney and Lavaridge Town. While maturing, she was trained in Ninjutsu by her father who is a Grandmaster despite being his daughter gave her no special treatment like the other students. Although learning the basics already, Setsuko decides to up the ante by focusing more on her Fire-based attacks or anything else to take advantage with speed as well.

On her 18th Birthday, Setsuko is given a Charizardite Y as a gift which is mostly a heirloom passed down from her mother's side of the family, using Mega Evolution to increase her capabilities even more.

Personality-wise, she's mostly lives as a mature and responsible adult with a bit of carefree on the side. She's friends with Hibana and the Ryota Brothers, Ichiro & Jiro.
