I've always admired Eskiworks ' work. Her style, her characters and just about everything she paints is absolutely amazing. The imagination that she puts into her work is awe inspiring. Everything she does is always breath taking and beautiful. She is also very kind and always willing to help and give advice to others who struggle in certain things in their own art.

I've been meaning to paint something for her for a while but any idea for a picture was never good enough to show tribute to such a cool artist. But I finally sat down and decided to paint this once I finally got the right inspiration.

I was watching a small documentary on youtube about giant sinkholes from around the world and I was inspired by how beautiful some of them are. How vegetation grows inside them and how giant ponds fill them up. Mines is obviously smaller but acceptable for a Alecani Nym to just sit back and relax. :)

Anyway, I hope you like it Katie! Keep up great work!
As for myself, I've still got a ways to go and things to learn and improve on!

    Daaaaayuuuum gurrrrrl! That looks really freaking amazing! Fantastic job with the waterfall and details! I think you maybe could've spent a little more time rendering her wings as they look a little flat in comparison to the rest of the image, but all in all this is pretty damned good! Your fur rendering makes me weep with jealousy ;u;

      Thank you very much! lol Yeah, I didn't really spend much time on the wings as I probably should have. I'm still struggling with lighting/shadow/reflective light. DI
      Fur still needs improvement but I'm getting better than I was before. Thank you! :3

    I can't even begin to comment with the proper words how utterly -GORGEOUS- this is.....like, this is the type of stuff i wish i could put onto paper with my own thoughts. Whoa. This is probably the most comforting, cozy, and beautiful place to have to keep to ones self, surrounded by nature <3

    The lighting is just beautiful, and you've really captured a perfect Nym-atmosphere. Love the touch of rainbow and butterflies in there, it really makes it magical. <3 Well done!

      Thanks! Yeah, I thought it would be nice to add some subtle life in there with the butterflies. And whats a waterfall without a rainbow? :D

      It makes me so happy to know that. I'm really trying to be more painterly with my art and making this for you was a great way to practise it. It was an honour to make this for you. :)
