Here If You Need It

Funny story. I've been playing the newly released Homeworld Remastered, and I decided that since the original HW2 allowed for the use of custom emblems for your fleet, I might see if I could do the same for the new games. So I looked it up online, and I discovered that I just needed to create a 256px square .tga file.
Up until now my art program of choice has been the venerable but basic MS Paint, which is okay for rudimentary doodling, but has no facility for .tgas or alpha channels or any of that stuff. So of course I needed a more advanced program for this job. I looked in the ol' start menu on the off-chance that I already had one installed and ready, ad what should I happen to find?

Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Yes, Adobe were offering free downloads of Photoshop a few years ago and I took advantage, only to never actually use the program. So for years now I've been bumbling about in Paint like an idiot when I've had a much more powerful program ready and waiting for me to try. I am a complete fool.

Oh, and if you're interested: yes, I did make myself a badge: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=399971552 - Looks pretty good, don't you think?
