Leather bracelet for shadechristiwolven!

Man, I started work on this a long time ago. Like… it was actually mostly designed before Halloween, I believe. I’ve just been busy/distracted/putting it off because I was scared I’d screw it up, since it is so much smaller than other leatherwork I’ve done.

This actually sat, nearly finished, for a long while, because I needed to size it to fit her arm once I put snaps in. I mean, I could have done it so it tied, though that would have made the bracelet difficult to wear, or I could have used elastic, but I really wanted it to be strictly metal and leather.

I feel that the way that natural materials such as ores and animal hides are processed and developed into such fine materials, that balance between nature and the influence of man was very significant. Duality is an important sort of theme… day and night, wild and domestic, man and nature, organic and inorganic, and I wanted that reflected in the materials used.

Anyway… it's not perfect, but it's not bad. Woo~
