Let’s just say that both Quinton and Philip spent enough time living in institutions to know that being a grass is really bad for one's karma.

In school playground terms Philip and his pal Peter (the guy in a blue sweater) are probably "freaks" – too rowdy to be geeks, not ruthless enough to be total bullies but might push someone around if it entertains them.

For the avoidance of doubt, Quinton's last phrase is more about his depression than quadriplegia – I always find it ironic that at the time when you really wouldn't mind skipping a few weeks if not months of your life you often can’t sleep much or at all.

It remains to be seen if appealing to Philip's better side will work or if it is the brink of disaster! Troy for one thinks Philip is good fun when he's not smacking people, hence his happy face. :D
