Edit: I don't have much of a story developed for her yet, but here's what I have so far:

She's worked on her family farm since she was old enough to, but wants to get away from it. Growing up she discovered she didn't feel comfortable in her male body and that she more associated with mares. Between not wanting to continue on the farm and being transgender, she has a poor relationship with her father and her mother tries to avoid the whole thing. She tries to appear as feminine as she can. She wears an anklet, as well as a necklace she got from her grandmother.
