Hatts travels through the huge, magical, monster-infested forest to find different species of monsters. He wants to find all the monsters! All! Haha. He does it because his parents used to study them.

The scars Hatts has is not really from the monsters he finds, they are from complications he's had trying to run away haha! Like his ears getting snagged on thorny branches and running into things.

Hatts spends so much time in the forest he has issues talking to normal people when he does go back into civilization to get supplies. He has no social skills. He also speaks with a stutter.
