Ever heard of the Nostalgia Chick? Well, her boyfriend got into an argument with a Gamergater on Twitter that apparently escalated into him becoming their #1 male enemy or something. And one thing they keep saying is that he's being "controlled" by her. Based, as far as I can tell, solely on the fact that she is a woman who makes videos on the Internet.
