Because I ended up experiencing it quite a bit lately. So this was a vent picture.

Story:
One day I went out (dressed up for myself) and had some money saved up for one thing... SHOPPING! But not the kind of shopping a girl usually do. I was going to hunt through every comic/collector store for my ever growing Transformers collection.
Went to 4 comic/collector shops. The first three were really nice looking inside, but the people that worked there were absolutely awful. They kept asking all these questions about the Transformers toys, how many I had, what kind, the comics, its movies, and series and it didn't take me long with their degrading tones and expressions to realize they were doing the "Quiz her to see if she's REALLY into what she's a so-called a FAN of." And all I did was walk in and ask to see the toys I was after, I had my money in my hand waiting to give it to them, but they wouldn't let me see the toy until they were thought they were done with their quizzing.
The weird part was, and I wasn't trying, but I beat them at their own quizzes... like.... killed them at it. To the point of intimidating their own fanhood and then they began talking like I was "teasing these lonely repressed mengeeks sexually" , even calling "POSER!" like dangling myself in front of them as mate material but flitting away. Like EXCUSE ME WHAT I just came in to get some goddamned action figures, I'm trying to hand you large sums of money and you're seeing if I'm WORTHY of the damn toy?! Anyways, the 3rd one in particular that was accusing me of only walking in there to tease him (and everyone else in there) I was so ticked by this point I ended up playing along and began to flirt, leaned in to his face with my large sum of money, tucked the money into my bra, gave this evil "you got played sucka" look and said, "Look man I just came in for some toys, but you're such a egoist misogynist jerk I'll take these 100 dollar bills and spend them elsewhere. It shouldn't matter if I'm a girl, if I was only a fan from the bay-movies, whether I have the G1 set, how many figures I have, or how many comics I own, fans are fans and if they want to pay you for your secondhand shit you're supposed to grin and bear it."
So the picture is a depiction of me and the third guy. And yes, that's cutey little Beast Wars Megatron I'm holding. The last comic shop I went to and continue till this day had a great guy running it. He quizzed me but he was only excited about TFs just as much as me and we kind of fangirled together and it was adorable. I now get all my comics and toys there. X3 squee
