At long last, I think it’s safe to say that I have finally gotten Gene’s new look finalized.
For the past few months I’ve been trying to update Gene’s overall look since I felt it was too similar to other characters, so I think I finally have something I’m really happy with.

I know that his redesign doesn’t look like much, my main concern was with his head to give him a bit of a unique look.
His clothing hasn’t changed much here, but that’s because I may play with that still since I have multiple ideas that could I may end up using for the heck of it.

With this new look also comes with some changes to his back story; nothing major, but his hybrid mix-up has changed to better reflect his appearance, as well as to get rid of some old baggage.

I have to give a lot of thanks to my friends for their help with this; some of my ideas have floundered really badly and they were able to help out a lot.

Hopefully sometime down the line I can do more with him since I have ideas.
I also hope that now with this finally out, I can get going with more art in general.
