Here's a selfie of me as Newsprint at Anthrocon 2014. As I said before, new additions to the costume this year were the contacts, fake eyelashes, kitty teeth and whiskers. The whiskers are actual cat whiskers. I collect them as my cat sheds them, clean them, and then put them in a baggie. I apply them with eyelash adhesive and they stay on quite well.
I had difficulties with painting my body this time around and you can tell I didn't spend very much time on my chest at all.

Thanks! Yes I collect these as my cat sheds them (no cats are harmed in the process!) I also have a bunch of black ones I bought from Etsy from someone who also collects them as their cat sheds them. This makeup keeps evolving. Originally it was much more realistic-looking because it was based off of an actual cat. I think the latest one I did at ANE was one of the best ones. I was pretty happy with how 3D the muzzle area looked. I just wish I could have worn contacts too.

That's really neat! The brushstrokes for the fur are excellent. I'm really impressed with how she's progressed! I've seen her around on FA a few times and always digged it. The version at ANE was gorgeous, at first I thought you were wearing one of Duskysam's prosthetics. Contacts would have been cool, but I didn't notice.
