I’ve been a fan of DMFA for as long as I can remember. Some fanart for it was long overdue. If I was a ‘cubi and had my choice of clans, I’d more than likely be a Jin, but Dimanika is up there as my second favorite clan leader. I figured drawing them together would be a good start.

My silly little headcanon is that it’s not just Mink and “Didi;” Dimanika’s clan is on good terms with Jin’s, and the leaders get along well, as well. Before the decimation of Jin’s clan, Dimanika members could be found working alongside them often in hospitals and schools, making people laugh with their antics and feeding on the confusion of those who didn’t. After the war, the two sisterless leaders bonded more closely, Jin seeing the younger leader as something of a bouncy little sister or cousin. On the rare occasion when a new member is born or inducted into Jin’s clan, nobody quite knows how, but lollipop bouquets find themselves into the hands of the morning clan, with Dimanika’s mark on a card inside as the only clue.

Wiiiiiiiiiiings. Six pairs of wings, my goodness. Dimanika's wings in particular gave me a fair bit of trouble, but I'm pretty happy with how they ended up.

Also, lollipops are fun to color.
