You can not see the moon in this shot, because it's busy lighting up all the snow caps and the field below. The starry night was quite beautiful in the Western Alamosa Valley, on the early morning of April 15, 2014. This was taken just after midnight, when the lunar eclipse was about 1/4 of the way started.
