The second of the Elemental Horses that began with Ignis and continues here with Aura (wind)! I had sooooo much fun with this one, and I'm delighted with how she came out. I chose the Thoroughbred to represent wind, both for their speed and their delicacy. In color, I decided to go a different route from the Primary Colors as Elements that a lot of mythologies use, since really you get all colors in elements (blue fire, green and blue water, red earth, etc.) and besides, wind is technically invisible. -.-

My solution was to use whites and silver for wind (which will serve as the antithesis for earth, which will be gold and blacks). I actually ended up using a lot of different colors to get the shimmery quality, which is just one of those funny things that happens when you draw something that's white. XD
