Back in winter I watched the Desolation of Smaug twice and I loved so much how they made Smaug! He was so much better then what I've expected, it's amazing how they managed to give so much personality and even various facial expressions to a giant spikey detailed dragon.
Made this speedpainting as a tribute to him, I hope you enjoy!

I've seen a lot of renditions of Smaug since the movie came out, but the way you painted this one seriously makes it my favorite. It's so intense and dramatic! I love what you've done with the hatch lines.
