I know a few people were curious about how exactly Quinton was going to trick the nurse so I hope this isn't too much of a disappointment. Gotta use what you can.

YES! Also when I was working on the comic I kept thinking "man, this is SO obvious, everyone is going to guess it right away" but quite a few people told me they never saw it coming and you're the first person who told me otherwise. But I'm told I'm good at figuring out what's about to happen in fiction because I watch too many crime dramas. If only this skill worked for me in real life haha.
Also I love all my characters and there's one more story about Quinton planned (and another one done which I haven't uploaded here yet) but after that I'll be working on a bunch of Cop Story arcs he's not in and I'm really going to miss drawing him on a daily basis.

Ah, good to know! :D But I'm okay with it being obvious, I find most stories where you can't guess anything are random Welcome To Night Vale style stuff, the more rational the story and characters are the easier it usually gets to guess, considering that often all the important elements are set up earlier in the story.

This is such a satisfactiory read. God, I only hope that nurse didn't make his lafe hell afterwards.

:D I think they had a cold war sort of situation after that - trying to ignore each other (considering they weren't the only people there it usually worked). Generally Quinton spent most of his life tricking people and laughing at them, becoming disabled only gave him more time to do it. He tends to get away with it though the next comic I'll do about him turns the tables on him in a pretty awful way (hopefully soon, oh man, I've been planning it since autumn).

Pretty effective payoff, I think. I can't imagine what else he might have done that would have been more of a surprise than a poke in the eye!
