Marshmallow Mushiness [WIP - Vignette]

Hajinn

It began in a deceptively innocuous way, one could say.

Long standing acquaintances and imagineering colleagues, Tahajin Grandville and Saul Rutgur had set aside the entire weekend to catch up on various affairs and perhaps partake in a few nights on the town – fairly customary procedure for urbane gentlemen of science. The obsidian-furred duo bopped from venue to venue, discussing various conjecture in the tea hovels and coffee shops and showing off their far more eccentric sides at the academies, restaurants, and arcades – Tahajin hosting his own little stand-up routine in the queues and Saul competitively binging every opportunity he got. Hours chock full of brainstorming and gaiety flew by and before either of them realized – night cascaded over the metropolis and the privacy of their hotel room was in hot pursuit.

Ensconce in their joint suite atop the TJ Embassy, idle chatter yielded to quixotic ideas which, in turn, permitted the growth of romantic matters. The rest of the night followed a tightly knit pattern of apercu at one another and quick, flustered aversion – as if glimpsing was a faux pas. The possat finally mustered the gall to suggest that they watch a movie since the daily topics had been exhausted and neither were tired enough to call it day. Somehow, they managed to land on an amorous comedy from a bygone decade. During the particularly steamy scenes, binturong and possat began essaying their distances – scooting ever closer to one another. Eventually, their fingers began to entwine. On the precipice of the dénouement, they were practically in each other’s arms – and it took the credits roll for them to notice.

Their gut reaction unified in a decisive ‘PULL BACK’, but, as fate would have it, neither body was responding. Flurried palpitations resonated throughout the room and ambiance was gently subsumed into the heated melody, followed swiftly by demure, yet heavy breathing.

Surprisingly enough, it was Saul who came to terms with their ‘predicament first’, flopping agin the possat. All that food had finally taken its toll on the ebony bearcat. He was far too fatigued to fight their incidental intimacy. Besides, he needed someone or something to hold whilst his muscles sorted out those shooting pains in his side. Tahajin loosed his ponytail and reclined just enough to act as Saul’s impromptu body pillow. Unfortunately, that did next to nothing to alleviate that cramping – as made evident by Saul’s soft whimpers. Sure, there were numerous ways that issue could have been approached, but given the circumstance and the heightened mood, Tahajin decided to opt for a full body massage, courtesy of an assortment of viscid tendrils.

Saul’s visage brightened, but his eyes remained stapled shut. Persistently tempted to pinch that adorable little countenance, Tahajin’s arm helixed around Saul’s and slithered up to smooth over the outermost cheek tuff with his thumb.

To and fro, in a melodic rhythm..

To and fro, closing the schism..

Closer and closer still…

What he planned to do wholly unprofessional and many superior would have taken umbrage in such a salacious act – but it was the serene tranquility of the moment that foster a desire, a need to do this. Hasty rationale comforted him: They had been friends for years! Surely something like this wouldn’t affect anything! We’re in the privacy of an embassy I own, anyway – none of this would leak anywhere, and who cares if it did!

Lips quivered. Breaths turned haggard and wanton. And as Saul opened his eyes to see a pitch-black muzzle approach his own…he welcomed it’s encroaching with a clutch to the nape and an open mouth.

It began in a deceptively innocuous way, did it not?

Unfortunately, I can't give you an ETA on went this little sentiment-fest will be completed, but I do recommend you go watch Nullzilla/Raiku/Chase and give that blue-lined plushball some support!
